I am going through the whole process of basic SEO (search engine optimization) in getting a web site to the top of search engine result pages which includes just what SEO really is and what it is about.
This is the twentieth article in this series.
Search engine optimization is hard work. It takes a whole lot of time. It takes a whole lot of patience. Depending on the specific keyword phrases you are going for and the competition, you are looking at months or years!
That said, it is very easy to get caught up in trying to find a tool, piece of software, a widget or whatever that can shorten that time span. There are many products on the internet that claim to create just tons of links and back links, automatically within days achieve a high Page Rank, create and optimize a web site for you with just one click of a mouse button...literally present to you the very first position for a keyword phrase in days!!
Many of these claims seem so exaggerated yet it is very tempting to chunk out that $37.00 and purchase that piece of software that will eliminate all that time and effort you are putting into your SEO campaign.
What makes it all tougher in my mind is that it is many of your leading SEO gurus who are offering these solutions! I mean, these are people that I have looked at their work and I know they know what they are doing. These are very reputable people. They are experts in their field!
So why is it I am going to tell you to stay away from all of those software programs and tools which are being sold by reputable people? These are reputable people who are experts in their field. Maybe these tools they offer are legit?
It comes down to this...Why take the chance?
Again, with all of the time and effort you put into your SEO campaign, why do something that could force you to start completely over.
Google and all of the other search engines are in the business of creating a level playing field for everyone. They spend millions of dollars and hire hundreds, maybe thousands of the most knowledgeable people they can to prevent anything from making SEO easier. Is it believable that there is a software program that can beat the system?
I am not saying many of the products available out there are not legit.
I am just saying...Why take that chance?
I am currently working with a diverse team of like minded individuals in a co-op type atmosphere using search engine optimization to build our business opportunity. This growing team currently consists of people from Ireland, Australia, England, Canada, and the United States. This team of network marketers are combining our efforts to obtain high positions in search engines like Google for higher level type keyword phrases.
Where as many people usually fail when trying to build a home based business to supplement their incomes, we work together to ensure everyone has success. Anyone who becomes affiliated with us becomes successful as that is how "we" as a group become successful!
The goal here of course is for many people doing a little instead of several people doing a lot to ensure that success. All traffic and customers are derived from SEO. We do not call anyone unless they request it.
